This is an onsite position requiring the team member to be onsite 5 days a week.

Job Summary

In this role, the incumbent is responsible for leading and/or supporting technical projects (focusing on heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and cleanroom technology) for the Eschweiler plant. The projects are carried out in accordance with internal processes and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations, in collaboration with internal and/or external partners.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Independent project management of projects in the areas of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and cleanroom technology across all planning phases
• Schedule and cost control, as well as reporting on budget and project status
• Support of the engineering team in the area of building services engineering
• Development and planning of sustainable concepts in the areas of heating, ventilation, and plumbing
• Cost estimation, preparation of specifications, and support in the preparation of tender documents
• Coordination of internal departments and external partners
• Construction supervision depending on the project scope

Education

• Successfully completed engineering degree, preferably in the field of building services engineering with a focus on building services engineering, building technology, process engineering, energy technology, or a comparable qualification

Work Experience

• At least 3 years of professional experience in a comparable role, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
• Sound experience in the planning, execution, or commissioning of ventilation systems, preferably in the pharmaceutical or medical device sector

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Several years of experience in project management, preferably in technical facility management
• Good understanding of commercial calculation skills (e.g., for quotations)
• Proficient use of standard MS Office applications
• Experience with SAP R3 or S4HANA
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is desirable
• Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills, as well as effective collaboration in multifunctional and international teams
• Strong customer focus and a generally positive attitude towards teamwork

Pay Transparency:

The annual base salary range for this position is€59,224.00 - €75,376.00. Total target compensation is determined using objective and gender-neutral criteria, including relevant experience, qualifications, skills, market benchmarks, geographic location, and the scope and responsibilities of the role.

This position may be eligible for variable compensation and other incentive programs in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans within the country of employment. In addition, team members are eligible to participate in the company’s benefits and total rewards programs applicable to their location and employment status.
