In pursuit of being Earth's Best Employer, our global Human Resources teams, known as People eXperience and Technology (PXT), drive business success by fostering a safe, inclusive, and innovative culture. The Campus Manager is a key partner responsible for operational excellence and organizational health through business PXT leadership across their campus. Leading a team of HR Partners and HR Business Partners, you will partner with site, business, and HR Leaders to strengthen culture and deliver business results. You translate PXT priorities into clear, actionable campus-level strategy, driving operational excellence, improving employee experience, and building scalable PXT practices that support performance and long-term growth. Success in this role depends on prioritization, sound judgment, and leading through others to drive measurable improvements in attrition, attendance, engagement, and leadership effectiveness across multiple sites. You will be expected to travel and work onsite at an Amazon facility’s, ensuring personal connection and hands‑on leadership where needed.

Key job responsibilities
PXT Operational Excellence

Ensure PXT teams across your campus execute with discipline, consistency, and alignment to Amazon standards. Use inspections and data to identify defects, validate process integrity, and reinforce accountability. Own end-to-end operational excellence through rigorous process execution, structured inspection routines, and effective use of tools and data. Ensure consistent documentation standards and timely issue resolution while escalating systemic concerns appropriately. Surface recurring system gaps and usability challenges to central teams, influencing scalable improvements. Promote continuous improvement through standardization and simplification.

Employee Experience & Culture

Drive engagement and retention by ensuring site leaders implement feedback mechanisms including Voice of the Associate boards, roundtables, and GEMBA walks. Deliver meaningful recognition programs with budget oversight and execution accountability. Champion safety standards through partnership with site leaders, ensuring consistent execution of safety programs and maintenance of workplace conditions. Maintain building standards through regular inspections and routines. Support community engagement initiatives that strengthen local impact. Monitor employee sentiment through regular floor presence, data analysis, and feedback mechanisms, holding leaders accountable for delivering positive experiences and implementing targeted action plans to strengthen culture.

PXT Leadership

Provide oversight on investigations, corrective actions, and employee relations matters, serving as final decision-maker on high-risk decisions including terminations. Manage escalations as primary escalation point for complex issues, partnering with Regional PXT, Legal, and ER teams. Mitigate compliance risks by establishing early warning systems and making high-judgment decisions that balance policy intent with business needs. Partner with country-level Governance teams and Works Council representatives to ensure effective consultation processes on site-level matters, maintaining constructive labor relations and compliance with co-determination requirements. Lead regional change initiatives through effective stakeholder management, removing adoption barriers and modelling positive behaviours. Foster collaboration between site and central PXT teams, maintaining strong partnerships across functions. Drive adoption and optimization of HR technology solutions to enhance efficiency, data accuracy, and employee experience, developing digital fluency and leveraging analytics for decision-making.

Ops Talent Planning & Org Health

Support long-term business success through leadership development programs and coaching for operations leaders at all levels. Drive workforce and succession planning to ensure pipeline readiness for critical roles. Detect succession risks and implement mitigation strategies. Conduct talent evaluations across hourly and leadership populations, establishing mechanisms for equitable selection, retention, and performance optimization. Manage underperformance effectively, coaching leaders to address performance gaps and build high-performing teams.

PXT Leadership & Org Health

Build a high-performing PXT organization by investing in team development and professional growth. Manage PXT succession planning and promotion decisions, identifying high-potential talent. Create leadership exposure opportunities for team members. Assess team health through engagement metrics and feedback. Manage PXT headcount and resource allocation to ensure appropriate coverage and capability. Translate Amazon priorities into regional execution plans, ensuring alignment between campus operations and organizational strategy.
