Zusammenfassung

AI Futures is hiring a Head of System in Munich to own the architecture tying together kinematics, sensors, compute distribution and control loops. You will lead the transition from architecture to a manufacturable robotic system, coordinating closely with the CAIO and the Head of Hardware.

You will report to the founders and direct software, systems engineering, and robot architecture groups to ensure the solution is scalable, robust, and industrializable from day one.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience architecting complex robotic systems — humanoid, legged, or highly dexterous platforms.
• Deep fluency across kinematics, controls, embedded/software systems, and sensor integration.
• A track record of leading technical teams through prototype-to-production.
• Comfort operating at both the architecture whiteboard and the shop floor.

Head of System – Humanoid Robotics | Munich | Up to €200,00 + 20% Bonus + VSOP

We're building the next generation of humanoid robots — and we're looking for a Head of System to own the architecture that ties it all together.

The Role

As Head of System, you'll own the robot's system architecture end-to-end: kinematics, sensor placement, compute distribution, and the critical mechanics-to-control loop. You'll drive AI-to-platform integration in close partnership with our CAIO, and lead the technical teams responsible for turning architecture into a working, intelligent machine.

You'll report directly to the founders and work hand-in-hand with the Head of Hardware to ensure system design and physical realization move in lockstep — architecture that's not just elegant on paper, but manufacturable and industrializable from day one.
