Lufthansa Consulting GmbH is seeking a seasoned leader to head the Competence Center “Transformation & Change” in Frankfurt. You will shape tailored consultancy services, coordinate with the Head of Market, and acquire projects for your Solution Group, including developing proposals and leading sales pitches.

You will represent the company in international projects, guide consultants, manage budgets, and drive knowledge sharing across corporate functions. English and German fluency is expected.

In this role you will be leading our Competence Center “Transformation & Change“ with responsibility for creating and offering tailored consultancy services. You will be working in Lufthansa Group and international projects and acquire projects for your own Solution Group – including developing proposals, supporting contract negotiations and sales pitches in coordination with the Head of Market.

Tasks

Representing Lufthansa Consulting to customers, government bodies and institutions and active participation in trade fairs and conferences will be part of your activities. Furthermore, you ensure the development of your Solution Group members.

• Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to...
  • Leading the Solution Group “Transformation & Change” as functional superior to assigned consultants, including budget-responsibility and knowledge management
  • Supporting the Head of Market in sales activities, leading proposal preparation, participation in sales pitches, and ensuring project quality
  • Working on projects as a senior advisor, possibly as Project Manager
  • Identifying and independently following up trends and needs for new and customized services, steering the creation of tailored consultancy services, problem solutions, lessons learned and content for training, marketing/sales, articles and proposals
  • Active participation in the work of corporate functions such as recruiting, internal corporate and overarching issues

Requirements

We are looking for a strategic thinking, entrepreneurial acting and innovative personality with high result orientation and vision, who fits into our motivated team in Frankfurt!

• Degree at a university/university of A.S. in business administration, economics or equivalent (e.g. MBA)
• Several years of profound experience in management consultancy and aviation with extensive knowledge in corporate transformation, organizational principles and subsequent development, process management, change management and post-merger integration
• Several years of professional experience in customer relationship management and extensive leadership capabilities gained as project manager; line leadership is beneficial
• Strong project management experience
• Significantly developed analytical skills, structured and pragmatic approach and ability of abstract thinking
• Enthusiasm and ability for intensive business travel worldwide
• Very good communication and presentation skills in English and German
