Elanco is seeking a Head of Logistics Operations (m/w/d) in Kiel to lead warehouse and shipping activities, ensuring GMP-compliant processes and efficient flow of goods for animal health products.

You will oversee manufacturing and wholesale responsibilities, drive safety, cost control, and capital projects while guiding a team in a global pharmaceutical company. This is a two-year fixed-term position.

Qualifikationen

• Several years of professional and leadership experience in logistics.
• In-depth knowledge of GMP and regulatory requirements (AMWHV/AMG).
• Degree with focus on logistics or supply chain management.

Your Role: Head of Logistic Operations (m/w/d)

We are currently hiring a Head of Logistics Operations (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible.

This is a two-year fixed-term position.

Your Responsibilities

• Managing the warehouse and shipping departments and ensuring that the flow of goods complies with GMP
• Overseeing operational logistics
• Responsible for SOP compliance, stock controls, inventory counts, and Veeva complaints
• Serving as Head of Manufacturing (Section 12 AMWHV) and the responsible person for wholesale (Section 52a AMG)
• Ensuring occupational safety and HSE compliance, as well as serving as the aviation security officer
• Budget planning, cost control, and coordination of capital projects

What You Need to Succeed

• Several years of professional and leadership experience in logistics, ideally in the pharmaceutical industry
• In-depth knowledge of GMP as well as the requirements of the AMWHV and AMG
• Strong leadership skills, the ability to motivate others, and a knack for processes
• A degree with a focus on logistics or supply chain management
• An independent, proactive work style and a strong focus on achieving goals
• Willingness to serve as an aviation security officer and representative to the Federal Aviation Authority (LBA)
