Qualifikationen

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in software engineering leadership roles, ideally within SaaS, platform, AI, or GovTech environments.
• Strong technical background in modern software architectures, cloud technologies, and scalable application development.
• Experience leading and growing high-performing engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of agile software delivery and engineering operations.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on technical leadership.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience working in fast-paced and evolving startup or scale-up environments.
• Interest in AI-driven products, digital public services, and large-scale digital transformation.
• Fluent English skills; German is a strong plus.

To support the growth of our organization, we are looking for a Head of Engineering (f/m/d) who combines strong technical leadership with a passion for building scalable digital platforms and high-performing engineering teams.

In this role, you will lead the technical strategy, engineering organization, and software delivery processes of our growing GovTech platform.
