On behalf of a leading biotechnology company, we are looking for an experienced Head of Engineering (m/f/d) to join the team in the greater Hamburg area. This role offers the opportunity to lead a talented engineering team and drive key installation and modernization projects.

Your Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Engineering department (8 employees)
• Ensure efficient project management and execution of investment projects
• Develop concepts for complex plant upgrades, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource planning
• Represent the Engineering department in interactions with site management, customers, authorities, and corporate partners

Your Profile:

• Completed an engineering degree in process engineering, biotechnology, mechanical engineering, or a comparable field
• Several years of professional experience in the life science industry
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an engineering management role
• Fluent in German and English
