ASML Berlin sucht eine Führungskraft im Fertigungsbereich, die eine Gruppe von Teamleitern und ca. 20 Mitarbeitenden fachlich und disziplinarisch führt. Sie gestalten Montageabläufe, planen Kapazitäten und setzen Qualitäts- sowie Lieferkennzahlen um.

Sie bringen fundierte Erfahrung in Produktion/Montage mit, arbeiten strukturiert, beeinflussen Prozessverbesserungen und arbeiten eng mit Schnittstellen wie Engineering, Planung, Logistik und Qualität zusammen.

Qualifikationen

• Abgeschlossenes technisches Qualifikationsniveau (Techniker/Mesiter) oder vergleichbare Qualifikation.
• Mindestens 5 Jahre Erfahrung in Produktion/Montage, ideal nahe am Shopfloor.
• Erste Führungsverantwortung in Teams oder Abteilungen.
• Erfahrungen in Verbesserungsprojekten bzw. Weiterentwicklung von Montage-, Logistik- oder Shopfloor-Prozessen.
• Gute MS Office-Kenntnisse (Excel/Word/Outlook/PowerPoint).
• Erfahrung mit ERP-Systemen (z.B. SAP).
• Fließende Deutschkenntnisse und gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift.

Aufgaben

• Führung von Teamleitungen und Mitarbeitenden sowohl fachlich als auch disziplinarisch; kontinuierliche Weiterentwicklung des Teams.
• Planung und Steuerung der operativen Montageprozesse der Fertigungsgruppe.
• Sicherstellung der KPIs in Qualität, Durchlaufzeit, Arbeitssicherheit, Lieferzuverlässigkeit und Kosten.
• Verantwortung für mittel- bis langfristige Planung und Ressourcensteuerung in Abstimmung mit dem Fertigungsmanagement.
• Koordination des Personaleinsatzes innerhalb der Gruppe (Schichtplan, Urlaub, Qualifikation, Weiterbildung).
• Vorantreiben von Shopfloor-Meetings und Teambesprechungen; Transparenz im Tagesgeschäft.
• Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Schnittstellen; Beitrag zu Verbesserungsinitiativen, Ramp-up-Aktivitäten, Industrialisierung und NPI-Projekten.

Introduction to the job

At our Berlin site, our employees manufacture key components for ASML lithography systems. As part of our precision manufacturing team, you support the production of optical components, assemblies, and systems made of glass, glass-ceramics, and ceramics for our high-tech small-batch, single-part, and prototype production.

You lead a group of three team leads and approximately 20 employees, shaping how collaboration, ownership, and operational discipline are lived in daily assembly operations. You challenge the status quo and drive improvements in assembly flow, quality, and delivery performance - Challenge . You bring together the right perspectives across assembly, engineering, planning, logistics, and quality to enable effective decisions - Collaboration . This creates results that hold up in day-to-day production and support a stable ramp-up.

Role and responsibilities

• You lead team leads and employees both functionally and disciplinarily and continuously develop your team.
• You plan and manage the operational assembly processes of your manufacturing group, aligned with daily, weekly, and long-term output targets.
• You ensure compliance with relevant KPIs, particularly in quality, lead time, workplace safety, delivery reliability, and cost.
• You own mid- and long-term scheduling and resource planning in alignment with manufacturing management.
• You coordinate workforce allocation within your group, including shift, vacation, qualification, and training planning.
• You drive and lead operational formats such as shopfloor and team meetings and ensure transparency in daily operations.
• You collaborate closely with key interfaces and actively contribute your area to improvement initiatives, ramp-up activities, industrialization topics, and NPI projects.

Education and experience

• You hold a completed advanced qualification as a technician or master craftsman, or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience.
• You bring 5 years of experience in a production or assembly environment, ideally close to shopfloor, shift, or ramp-up operations.
• You have initial of leadership experience in managing teams or organizational units.
• You have experience in implementing improvements or further developing assembly, logistics, or shopfloor processes.
• You are proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• You bring experience working with ERP systems (e.g. SAP).
• You have fluent German and good to very good English skills, both written and spoken.
