Zusammenfassung

NIO Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant for our Finance Team in Munich. You will manage end-to-end accounting for German entities, ensuring accuracy in postings, reconciliations, payroll, tax, and statutory reporting in line with US GAAP and HGB.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance, 5+ years’ experience in automotive/manufacturing, and strong English/German skills. SAP, DATEV, and Excel proficiency are required, with a proactive, process-improving mindset.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, CMA, or CFA certification is a plus.
• At least 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably within automotive or manufacturing.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and HGB Accounting Standards; IFRS is a plus.
• SAP, DATEV technical background knowledge is a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and German (at least B2 level).
• Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure.
• Results-oriented with excellent planning, prioritizing, and organizational skills.

Aufgaben

• Responsible for end-to-end accounting for German legal entities, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, payroll, tax, and statutory accounting topics.
• Prepare and support monthly and yearly closings in line with US GAAP and HGB accounting standards.
• Review and ensure accuracy of financial reports, postings, and reconciliations.
• Coordinate with internal departments, Finance BP and auditors on accounting related matters.
• Support process improvements, automation, and standardization within accounting and reporting processes.
• Maintain accounting configurations and support testing of accounting-related system changes.
• Monitor compliance with Group policies and local statutory requirements.
• Support balance sheet reviews, digital archive management, and cross-functional finance projects.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing accurate reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. As an individual contributor, you will play a key role in daily accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, reconciling accounts and assisting with month-end close procedures and audit. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently will be essential in maintaining financial accuracy and supporting overall business operations.
