Jobtailor in Germany seeks an experienced banking architect to actively shape the digital banking experience for our omnichannel platform focused on credit and financing. You will lead cross-functional teams, guiding architectural design and decision-making across domains.

You will translate business needs into scalable domain-driven solutions, collaborate with Product Owners and Architects, and ensure rigorous analysis and clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Computer Science or Business Informatics or equivalent.
• Extensive experience in banking architecture and financing domain.
• Experience leading cross-functional (sub)projects.
• Fluent German (C1) and good English (B2).

Responsibilities

• You are passionate about actively shaping the digital banking experience of our new omnichannel platform around credit and financing.
• You are responsible for the evolutionary and agile architecture of our software solutions and support teams in the functional design, e.g., strategic application design according to Domain‑Driven Design, interface design, etc., as well as the migration of legacy applications.
• You are a domain visionary and enjoy finding solutions for complex issues.
• You act as a bridge between the business, customers and relevant stakeholders such as Product Owners, Road Managers, Solution and Enterprise Architects; you translate requirements and communicate the overall architectural vision of the target IT landscape.
• You validate solution approaches and proactively support teams in the analysis, identification and specification of all functional and architectural questions.

Requirements

• You hold a degree in Computer Science or Business Informatics (or a comparable qualification) and have many years of relevant professional experience in banking architecture, as well as experience leading cross‑functional (sub)projects.
• You have strong knowledge of banking processes and products in the financing and lending domain.
• You enjoy working with cross‑functional teams and are well familiar with agile development methods such as Scrum.
• You have fluent German skills (at least C1) and good English skills (B2).
• You are able to grasp complex interrelationships, are a strong communicator and have a structured, analytical and independent working style, along with high problem‑solving capability.
