Zusammenfassung

Nordic Naturals is seeking a senior frontend-focused full-stack engineer to support several high-volume e-commerce websites. You will develop customer interfaces and collaborate on backend services, cloud infrastructure, platform integrations, testing, and delivery tooling.

You will translate journeys into responsive, accessible UI, participate in planning, reviews, and Agile processes, and work across a hybrid team distributed across North America.

Qualifikationen

• At least 3 years of relevant engineering experience with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Strong expertise with React and Next.js, plus advanced JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Deep experience with React-based frameworks and frontend build tools (HTML, CSS, SASS/LESS, Vite, Webpack).
• Advanced experience developing for a major e-commerce platform, including CLI tooling, templates, apps, UI extensions, and platform functions.
• Proficiency with Git, including branching and rebasing, and CI/CD principles.
• Ability to design and build end-to-end systems with shell, AWS, SQL/ORM, Docker, hosting, OAuth, security, testing, monitoring, and ERP/CRM integrations.

Role overview

This is a senior, frontend-focused full-stack engineering position supporting several high-volume e-commerce websites. The role combines customer interface development with backend services, cloud infrastructure, platform integrations, testing, and delivery tooling, taking projects from planning and architecture through implementation, documentation, and review.

Responsibilities

• Write organized, testable, and efficient frontend code with useful inline documentation.
• Translate customer journeys into responsive, mobile-first interfaces that meet design and accessibility requirements.
• Participate in UX planning, code reviews, QA feedback, and iterative improvement cycles.
• Work within Agile or Scrum practices, using the Atlassian toolset to coordinate work and track delivery.
• Evaluate and adopt emerging frontend technologies, while applying sound engineering judgment to implementation decisions.
• Take on full-stack tasks involving integrations, backend tooling, databases, hosting, and application services as needed.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant engineering experience, plus a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong expertise with React and Next.js, with advanced JavaScript and TypeScript skills.
• Deep experience with React-based frameworks and frontend build tools, including HTML, CSS, SASS or LESS, Vite, and Webpack.
• Advanced experience developing for a major e-commerce platform, including command-line tooling, template languages, custom applications, UI extensions, and platform functions.
• Proficiency with Git, including branching and rebasing strategies, plus a strong understanding of CI/CD principles and common software-development lifecycle practices.
• Ability to design and build systems end to end, with working knowledge of shell operations, AWS, SQL or ORM-based development, Docker, hosting solutions, OAuth-based authentication, cybersecurity, unit and functional testing, monitoring, and enterprise CRM or ERP integrations.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with additional React frameworks such as Remix, Fastify, or Hydrogen.
• Experience using AI-powered development tools while maintaining a critical, system-level review of generated code and existing codebases.

• The listed salary range is $97,000 to $112,000.
