Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor is seeking a skilled frontend engineer to design, develop and improve web and mobile applications. You will build modern UIs with React, TypeScript and Ionic, and translate UI/UX concepts in collaboration with product owners and designers.

The role focuses on reusable components, a unified design system, and close integration with backend services. You will implement responsive, mobile-first interfaces for desktop, tablet, Android and iOS, ensure performance and accessibility, and

Qualifikationen

• Several years of professional experience building modern web and mobile applications.
• Strong knowledge of React and component-based UI architecture.
• Solid experience with TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Experience with Ionic React and ideally Capacitor.
• Excellent HTML5 and CSS3 skills.
• Experience with responsive design and mobile-first approaches.
• Proficiency with modern CSS concepts such as Flexbox, CSS Grid and media queries.
• Experience creating reusable UI components and design systems.
• Comfortable with Node.js, npm and modern frontend build tools such as Vite.
• Experience with state and server-state management (e.g. Redux Toolkit, Zustand or TanStack Query).
• Experience integrating REST APIs as well as authentication and authorization.
• Experience with automated testing (e.g. Vitest, Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright or Cypress).
• Knowledge of web performance, accessibility and cross-browser compatibility.
• Proficient with Git and experienced in code reviews and CI/CD processes.
• Good understanding of UI/UX and a strong sense for consistent, intuitive user interfaces.
• Structured, independent and solution-oriented working style.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in an interdisciplinary environment.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Excellent German language skills (spoken and written) and good English skills for technical documentation.
