Engg is seeking a founding-level engineer to join us in Munich, owning core features from backend to AI integration. You will shape architecture as we scale and ship end-to-end solutions in a hands-on, high-ownership environment.

You will design, build, and maintain products, benchmark AI models, and productionize LLMs while collaborating with founders to accelerate growth. On-site in Munich, equity options are part of the package.

Qualifikationen

• Strong CS fundamentals with full stack capability.
• Fluent in Python; Go is a plus.
• Hands-on AI/ML experience including benchmarking, fine tuning, and production integration of LLMs.
• Experience building robust production systems and automating scalable processes.
• Entrepreneurial mindset for high ownership roles.
• Willingness to work on site in Munich.

ABOUT THE ROLE

A founding level role within a hands on engineering team in the logistics tech space. You will own critical features from backend to AI integration and help shape the architectural direction as the company scales.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Design, build, and maintain core product components end to end.
• Develop reliable full stack features that improve user efficiency.
• Benchmark and fine tune AI capabilities and integrate LLMs in production contexts.
• Experiment with new models and frameworks to improve performance in production.
• Iterate quickly based on data and user feedback while addressing legacy code.
• Build tooling and infrastructure to support data and AI workloads at scale.
• Collaborate closely with founders and team members in a high ownership environment.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Strong CS fundamentals with hands on full stack experience and the ability to navigate backend and cloud environments.
• Fluent in Python with familiarity in Go considered a plus.
• Hands on AI/ML experience including benchmarking, fine tuning, and production integration of LLMs.
• Experience building robust production systems and automating scalable processes.
• Startup or entrepreneurial mindset and comfort working in a high ownership setting.
• Willingness to work on site in Munich and participate in equity options as part of the compensation.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Salary range provided: 60,000, 90,000 EUR annually.
• Equity participation as part of the early stage team.
• Visa sponsorship not available.
