Zusammenfassung

Remotely is seeking a Founding AI Engineer in Berlin (relocating soon) to shape the AI-driven Autonomous Workforce platform. You will own the AI architecture, orchestrate agents, and integrate models with databases, deploying LLMs end-to-end in production.

You will join at day one, influence product and culture, and benefit from generous equity while building with a global, ambitious team. The role requires strong Python skills, production-ready backend/AI experience, and familiarity with graph

Qualifikationen

• Degree in computer science or years of self-taught equivalent.
• Experience building backend or AI systems that have actually been used.
• Strong Python skills, with more than prototype-level LLM API experience.
• Hands-on experience with graph or vector databases.

Our client is building the infrastructure for the Autonomous Workforce, where humans and AI agents work as one team. They're backed by EU co-financing, with their first funding round secured, and are now looking for a Founding AI Engineer to help us build faster.

What you'll do:

• Own the AI architecture, including how our agents are orchestrated
• Work on multi-level reasoning over graph structures
• Connect models, databases and backend, including vector databases for RAG and graph databases
• Deploy and tune LLMs end to end, architecture through production
• Ship features without delay, no ticket ping-pong
• Work the way we sell it: with AI agents as colleagues, not tools

What we're looking for:

• A degree in computer science, or years of self-taught equivalent
• Experience building backend or AI systems that have actually been used
• Strong Python skills, with more than prototype-level LLM API experience
• Hands-on experience with graph or vector databasesSomeone who believes work is changing fundamentally right now, and wants to build that future rather than watch it

• Currently based just outside Berlin, with a move into the city planned

• Fluent German preferred given our market, strong English also helpful
