Taxforce, a Berlin-based AI-powered tax advisory startup, seeks a Founders Associate Intern (m/w/d). You will work directly with the founders on the operational core with a focus on M&A and automation, gaining real responsibility from day one.

Taxforce was founded based on asimple observation: Many business owners want atax advisor who acts as a true sparring partner:proactive, responsive, and strategic. What theyoften get instead is a service provider: bookingreceipts and filing tax returns, with little realadvisory.

We’re building the alternative.

Founded in 2025, Taxforce rethinks tax advisoryfrom the ground up: AI-powered and highlyautomated, yet personal.

We're starting with healthcareprofessionals, a complex and underserved segmentwe're building Taxforce specifically for,growing both organically and through M&A, withthe ambition to expand into many more industriesover time.

This is a €40B market in Germany alone, withprocesses that have barely changed in decades. AIis now enabling a fundamental shift and there areno playbooks yet. We’re writing them.

Tasks

As a Founders Associate Intern, you'll workdirectly with the founding team across theoperational core of Taxforce, with a focus onM&A and operations, you’ll work directly withthe founding team. Exemplary taks include:

• Deal sourcing: Build and maintain a pipeline ofpotential acquisition targets, from initialresearch and screening to first outreach
• Post-merger integration: Support the onboardingand integration of newly acquired practices, fromprocess documentation to cross-firmcoordination
• Process building and automation: Identifymanual, fragmented workflows and help fix them atthe root, building AI-first automations andgetting into the tools yourself to make ithappen.
• Reporting and controlling: Help build andmaintain the reporting and financial planninginfrastructure that keeps Taxforce running.
• Investor relations: Support the preparation ofinvestor updates, board materials and internaldocumentation as we scale.
• Getting things done. Run recurring processes,close operational gaps and take care of the thingsthat simply need to get done, and automate it asyou go.

Requirements

• Drive & ambition: You’re motivated to go theextra mile and thrive in fast-paced startupenvironments
• First practical experience: You’ve gainedhands-on experience through internships or workingstudent roles (ideally in Consulting, IB orTech)
• Strong academic background: You’re studying ator have graduated from a well-regarded universityor business school
• Analytical mindset: You are able to thinklogically, break down complex problems andprioritise between multiple tasks on yourplate
• Tech-savvy: You’re comfortable using AI toolsand can implement small automations yourself andyou have no problem with learning new tools andskills on the go
• Entrepreneurial mindset: You’re excited aboutbuilding something from scratch and comfortablewith ambiguity and rapid iteration
• Collaborational: You are a team player. Workingtogether as a team and sharing knowledge comesnaturally to you
• German language skills: We are a fast growingstart-up with a diverse team. However, ourcustomers do mostly speak German. Hence we requireGerman language skills.
