simplyblock is hiring in Berlin to run the operating machinery of a growing company selling storage infrastructure to large enterprises. You will oversee GTM performance, sales support, finance, legal, and events, delivering measurable pipeline and efficiency gains.

The role is in-office at Berlin Mitte, four days a week, with opportunities to travel across Europe and the US. You'll work directly with founders, implement Claude-native workflows, and automate routine tasks.

Qualifikationen

• 1-2 years operator experience at a startup, consultancy, VC/PE, or founding role
• Proven ability to build orshipsomething tangible that created impact
• Experience automating sales/GTM workflows with modern tools
• Fluent in English; German a strong plus
• Berlin-based or willing to relocate quickly

You'll sit next to simplyblock's founders (mostly CEO) and run the operating machinery of a company selling storage infrastructure to some of the largest enterprises in the world. GTM performance, sales support, finance, legal, events. The stuff that decides whether a startup executes or stalls. Our team is small enough that your work shows up in company metrics within weeks. Every project clears one bar: it creates pipeline, saves real hours, or kills something we shouldn't be doing.

Full-time, in office in Berlin Mitte (at Naturkundemuseum) at least 4 days a week, starting as soon as possible.

• Sales & marketing performance management — track what the SDR/AE machine and campaigns actually produce, build the dashboards, flag what's off, and push fixes
• Enterprise sales process support — help run deals with some of the largest companies in the world: research, materials, follow-ups, RFP/security questionnaires, keeping complex sales cycles moving
• Marketing, events & PR coordination — own our presence at conferences (KubeCon, Red Hat Summits and more), coordinate campaigns and PR, run launches end-to-end: brief, plan, execute, retro
• Legal & admin — contracts, NDAs, compliance paperwork, vendor management — keep it moving without a general counsel
• Finance — invoicing, expense tracking, budget follow-up, investor reporting support

How we work

• Claude-native by default. You'll work with Claude across the whole stack — connectors, APIs, agents, Claude Code. If a workflow can be automated, it gets automated; we'd rather build the tool than hire the headcount
• Anything you'd do twice becomes a skill, an agent, or a script that outlives the task
• "The AI said so" doesn't fly. "Here's the output, here's how I verified it" does
• Zero BS: no pointless meetings, no weekly 1:1 theater, no managers of managers
• You don't need to be an engineer. You need to be comfortable in a terminal, a CRM, and a spreadsheet — and honest about what you don't know yet

Regular opportunity to travel across Europe and the US — conferences, customer visits, and team events. If you want to see how enterprise infrastructure gets sold in New York and at KubeCon, this is the seat.

Where this grows

We're building the US market from a standing start — the people who build it own it. Depending on where you pull and what the company needs: GTM/RevOps lead, Chief of Staff, or owning a function outright. None of these roles exist yet. That's the point.

Who you are

• 1-2 years of operator experience (internships count) at a startup, consultancy, VC/PE, or in a founding role of your own; or you're an ex-competitive sports pro
• Experienced in workflow automations for sales/GTM using tools like n8n, make, hubspot, pipedrive, apollo, bettercontact, etc
• Top of your peer group: provable through something you've built, led, or shipped, not just grades
• AI-native, not AI-curious: you already use Claude (or similar) daily and have shipped at least one automation that's still running
• Organized enough to run finance and legal without dropping balls; ambitious enough to not want to do only that
• Fluent English; German is a strong plus (we're a German GmbH so some admin work happens in German). Berlin-based or ready to relocate asap.
