The Exploration Company is seeking a Flight Software Engineer to develop and test critical software for the Nyx spacecraft. Applications at all seniority levels are considered. You will own sub-system requirements, implement modules, and write unit tests while collaborating with Avionics, Propulsion and the GNC team.

Expect involvement in a high-fidelity spacecraft simulator, strong emphasis on detail, quality and testing, and opportunities across a range of RTOS and real-time concerns.

Qualifikationen

• Strong C++ skills (C++14 and above).
• C / Embedded C experience.
• Strong Python skills.
• Familiarity with debuggers (GDB, LLDB).
• Good understanding of math & physics.
• Focus on detail, quality, and testing.
• Experience with CI/CD systems and build systems.

• Own the requirements for a specific sub-system.
• Implement Flight software modules for the sub-system.
• Write clean unit tests for the flight software.
