J.P. Morgan is seeking an IFRS/Local German GAAP Reporting Associate to join the Finance & Business Management team in Frankfurt.

You will assist in the production and oversight of IFRS and HGB financials, and participate in the preparation of annual financial statements, delivering precise, senior-ready insights. Collaborate with global teams, build deep product understanding, and manage close processes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifikationen

• German and English are required.
• Extensive experience in a large multinational environment.
• Knowledge of IFRS and Local German GAAP accounting standards.
• Experience in direct communication with auditors.
• University Degree in Finance or Business related discipline, with relevant experience in Financial Services.
• Proficient in MS applications - Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
• Self-motivated and proactive with ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Analytical and detail oriented.

Aufgaben

• Contribute to monthly/quarterly close of IFRS/Local GAAP (HGB) financials for J.P. Morgan SE.
• Own respective items and notes of the annual report and assist in the preparation of annual financial statements for J.P. Morgan SE.
• Prepare and present to senior management reports including analytical variances and cross location views across IFRS/ Local GAAP.
• Liaise with colleagues across multiple locations and departments including Product Control, Financial Control, Corporate Financial Reporting, Treasury and Local Regulatory Reporting.
• Be involved in discussions with line of business controllers to ensure deep understanding of products and business drivers.
• Play an important role to support the team on ad-hoc tasks and queries from internal and external stakeholders.

As an IFRS/Local German GAAP Reporting Associate withing our Finance & Business Management team, you will assist in the production and oversight of our IFRS and Local German GAAP (HGB) financials. You will also actively participate in the preparation of the annual financial statements under both sets of accounting rules. This will be a dynamic, developing and challenging role in a fast growing and paced environment.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

• German and English are required
• Strong relevant professional experience in a large multinational and global environment.
• Knowledge of IFRS and Local German GAAP accounting standards.
• Experience in direct communication with auditors.
• University Degree in a Finance or Business related discipline, coupled with relevant experience within the Financial Services industry.
• Proficient in MS applications - Excel, Power Point, Word.
• Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Analytical and detail orientated

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills

• Prior experience in Accounting/Audit firms would be highly regarded
• Multi-cultural background to communicate internationally and across lines of business in a complex matrix structure
• Knowledge of Smart Tools such as Tableau or Alteryx are highly desirable
