Zusammenfassung

Willidrop in Frankfurt seeks a Finance & Business Operations Manager to own the financial operating model, drive reporting across revenue, margins, cash flow and spend, and build lightweight systems to scale. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning with the founders.

You will collaborate on pricing, hiring, market expansion, and investor materials, balancing rigorous analysis with commercial reality; hybrid work setup with regular presence in Frankfurt.

Qualifikationen

• At least three years in startup finance, FP&A, or a similar analytical role.
• Strong financial modelling and a precise understanding of cash flow, P&L, and working capital.
• Ability to translate messy source data into clear recommendations.
• High attention to detail with a business-focused mindset.
• Fluent written and verbal English; German skills are highly useful.
• Based in Germany or willing to relocate to Germany.

As Finance & Business Operations Manager, you’ll build that discipline. You’llown the numbers behind the business, turn them into useful decisions, and create the lightweightsystems that let Willidrop scale without losing control.

What You’ll Do

• Build reliable management reporting across revenue, gross margin, transport economics, cash, andoperating spend
• Own budgeting, forecasting, runway planning, and scenario analysis with the founders
• Improve the month-end close together with external accounting and tax partners
• Develop a clear view of unit economics by customer, lane, transport type, and carrier segment
• Maintain decision-ready models for pricing, hiring, and market expansion
• Coordinate invoicing, payment, procurement, and contract workflows where ownership is stilldistributed
• Automate recurring reporting and reconcile data across operational and financial systems
• Prepare the financial materials needed for investors, financing partners, and board conversations

What We’re Looking For

Must-Haves

• At least three years in startup finance, transaction services, FP&A, controlling, audit, or asimilarly analytical role
• Strong financial modelling and a precise understanding of cash flow, P&L, and working capital
• The ability to move from messy source data to a clear recommendation
• High attention to detail without losing sight of the commercial decision
• Strong written and verbal communication in English; German is highly useful
• Based in Germany or willing to relocate

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with marketplaces, logistics, mobility, or transaction-heavy businesses
• Experience working with German accounting, tax, or employment processes
• Confidence with SQL, BI tools, accounting systems, and workflow automation
• Experience supporting a fundraise, due-diligence process, or board reporting cycle
• Exposure to credit, insurance, payments, or cross-border operations

You will be close enough to the operation to understand why a number moved, and independent enoughto challenge the story when the evidence says something else.
