• Willingness to work in a cleanroom environment with rotating shifts or on-call duties.
• Good command of English with German in an international workplace.

Aufgaben

• Maintains a clean, safe, and compliant workplace and recommends improvements.
• Operates and controls UPW, PCW, Industrial Reclaim, and Industrial Waste Treatment systems.
• Observes gauges and instruments to monitor critical limits.
• Performs standard diagnostics and root cause analysis for interruptions or incidents.
• Performs troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance and repairs.
• Draws samples and performs temperature, pH, gas analyses per plant standards.
• Maintains logs of gauge readings, shift throughput, and equipment malfunctions.
• Inspects equipment and records tank levels and gauge readings.
• Ensures processing conditions and outputs meet regulatory limits and alerts management of discrepancies.

Facilities Technician / Betriebstechniker (Water Systems) (m/f/d)

As Facilities Technician you are responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting of Ultrapure Water (UPW), Process Cooling Water (PCW), Industrial Reclaim, and Industrial Wastewater Treatment (WWT) systems & equipment. You play the pivotal role to ensure standard operating procedures are followed accurately and reliably to ensure our fab follows highest environmental protection standards. By performing laboratory testing and systematic verification and alignment of measurements from various instruments, sensors, and equipment our fab can run smoothly thanks to your work.

To ensure 24 hours operations, our Fab Technicians will work in shift model in cooperation with other Technicians, Engineers, and Managers to ensure that all process specifications are met at all times.

Job Responsibilities

• 1. Maintains a clean, orderly, and safe workplace, follow all safety policies and procedures at all times and make recommendations for continuous improvement of work method, safety, materials-, and tool handling.
• 2. Operates and controls systems & equipment for Ultrapure Water, Process Cooling Water, Industrial Reclaim, and Industrial Waste Treatment.
• 3. Observes gauges, signals and recording instruments to effectively monitor critical limits.
• 4. Performs standard diagnostics, monitor site performance indicators and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for interruptions or incidents.
• 5. Performs troubleshooting, emergency and corrective maintenance and repair actions.
• 6. Draws samples and performs temperature, pH, gas-analyses, or other standard tests in conformity with plant standards.
• 7. Maintains log of gauge readings, shift throughput, and equipment malfunctions.
• 8. Patrols area to inspect equipment and record tank levels and gauge readings.
• 9. Ensures processing conditions and process output are within regulatory limits and alerting management of discrepancies.
• 10. Perform standard and non-standard equipment maintenance, repairs and modifications to ensure smooth operations inline with environmental protection requirements.

Job Qualifications

• 1. Eligible to work in Germany and available for 3 months on-the-job training in Taiwan.
• 2. Technician or equivalent technical apprenticeship education in Water Treatment Systems, Water Technology, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• 3. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a facilities, utilities, or water treatment related role.
• 4. Willingness to work in a cleanroom environment with rotating shifts or on-call duties.
• 5. Deep interest in mechanical, chemical, and electrical principles related to water treatment systems.
• Language Skills: Good command of English with good command of German to communicate in our international workplace.
• Professional Skills: 1. Basic computer skills, ability to learn usage of standard maintenance and process monitoring software.
• Professional Skills: 2. Able to read and interpret technical manuals and process schematics.
• Professional Skills: 3. Capable of working independently and cooperatively with other Technicians, Engineers, and Managers with a strong attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and problem-solving.
