Brightsmith is seeking an experienced Explosion Protection Specialist to develop and maintain explosion protection concepts and documentation for hydrogen technology projects. You will conduct risk assessments, support commissioning activities, and ensure safety requirements are properly implemented and documented across internal facilities and customer sites.

Qualifikationen

Interested in using your Explosion Protection / ATEX experience to support the development and safe commissioning of innovative hydrogen technology?

As an Explosion Protection Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining explosion protection concepts and documentation, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring high standards of plant and operational safety. You’ll support commissioning activities across internal facilities and customer projects, working closely with operators and project teams to ensure all safety requirements are implemented and documented.

The role

• Creating and maintaining Explosion Protection Concepts and Documentation.
• Conducting risk assessments, particularly around explosion protection and pressure equipment.
• Carrying out regular plant safety inspections.
• Supporting operators and project teams with safety-related matters.
• Supporting commissioning activities at internal facilities and customer sites.
• Ensuring safety requirements are implemented and properly documented.
• Supporting the safe operation of complex industrial plants.

Ideally, you'll have a combination of:

• Strong experience as a Explosion Protection Specialist
• Experience workingh with large-scale chemical plants and general plant safety.
• Leadership expereince and posses solid specialist knowledge as an Occupational Health & Safety Specialist, ideally with a focus on the chemical industry and/ or Safety and Health Coordination (SiGeKo).
