Exyte seeks an Expert Quantity Surveyor (m/f/d) to support Subcontracting Management across the full project lifecycle. You will bridge Engineering and Procurement, controlling subcontractor payments and final measurements.

Required are a Quantity Surveying degree, 5+ years post-qualification main contractor experience, and strong analytical, numeric, and communication skills. Work on large-scale engineering projects in Germany with On-site presence.

The Expert Quantity Surveyor (Civil, Structural, Architectural) (m/f/d) supports Subcontracting Management within their area of expertise throughout the full project lifecycle. The Quantity Surveyor plays an integral role within the Procurement & Subcontracting Team by managing the interface between Engineering and Procurement & Subcontracting, as well as overseeing the subcontractor payment application process.

• Analyze drawings, specifications, and tender documents to estimate quantities and costs.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BoQs) or Schedules of Rates specific to CSA systems.
• Use digital tools (e.g., Bluebeam, CostX, Revit, BIM) to ensure precision and efficiency in quantification.
• Verify subcontractor payment applications and progress reports.
• Support the Subcontract Manager with final measurements for contract close-out.

Show your expertise

• Third-level education diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• At least five years of relevant post-qualification experience with a main contractor.
• Relevant experience in EPC client projects with a total value exceeding €500 million.
• Computer literate, with working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and logical thinking skills.
• Ability to work accurately with figures.
