Rmlfs is offering a nationwide role for roofing operatives requiring extensive travel during the week. You will work on commercial roofing, performing tasks including strip re-sheeting and general maintenance. Rmlfs covers accommodation and provides allowances for staying away and meals. Successful applicants must have valid CSCS cards, proven experience, and own tools.

The compensation is competitive, with day rates ranging from £180 to £250 depending on qualifications. There are opportunities for career advancement within the company.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience in commercial roofing.
• Must be able and willing to work nationwide and stay away.
• Own van, tools, and full PPE required.
• Strong understanding of site health & safety.

Aufgaben

• Strip and re-sheeting of metal and flat roofing systems.
• Perform liquid roofing, overlays, and patch repairs.
• Replace rooflights as needed.
• Conduct general reactive and planned maintenance.
• Work safely on live commercial and industrial sites.
• Liaise with in-house scaffolding teams when required.

About the Role

This is a nationwide role. You must be willing and able to work away from home during the week as required. RMLFS covers all accommodation and provides a staying away allowance and dinner money for all overnight stays.

Scope of Work

• Strip and re-sheeting (metal and flat roofing systems)
• Liquid roofing, overlays, and patch repairs
• Rooflight replacements
• General reactive and planned maintenance
• Working safely on live commercial and industrial sites
• Liaising with in-house scaffolding teams where required

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 x SSSTS-qualified Supervisor in the gang
• All operatives must hold valid CSCS cards
• Proven experience in commercial roofing
• Must be able and willing to work nationwide and stay away during the week
• Own van, tools, and full PPE
• Strong understanding of site health & safety
• Additional qualifications (desirable):
  • PASMA / IPAF
  • Asbestos Awareness
