g2 are currently searching for a QHSE Manager to join them on a freelance basis, based in Dresden, Germany.

The role will require an experienced QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety & Environment) Manager to support a major EPC contractor on a large-scale construction project. You will be responsible for overseeing all QHSE activities on site, ensuring compliance with both local regulations and international project standards throughout the construction phase.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading international EPC organisation delivering a complex engineering and construction project. You will work closely with project management, site supervision teams, subcontractors and client representatives.

Start: September 2026 onwards

Contract Type: Freelance

Specification:

• HSE/HSSE/HSEQ/QHSE background with relevant certifications
• Experience working for an EPC contractor, engineering company, or on large industrial construction projects
• Experience with ISO management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001)
• Knowledge of HSE and Quality Management Systems (QMS)
• Strong understanding of contractor management, permit-to-work systems, risk assessments, and construction safety practices
• Clear understanding of behaviour-based safety programmes and safety culture initiatives
• German language skills highly beneficial

The client is looking to onboard the successful QHSE Manager as soon as possible and is flexible regarding mobilisation depending on availability.

The role requires a confident and proactive QHSE professional who is comfortable advising project teams, construction managers, site supervisors and subcontractors on all health, safety, environmental and quality matters whilst driving continuous improvement across the project.
