Zusammenfassung

Epic is seeking a network engineer to install, configure, and support our campus and cloud networks. You’ll influence changes in Epic's internal infrastructure and work with Cisco and other vendors in a global network environment.

You’ll investigate modern switching and routing platforms, design WAN connectivity, configure firewall rules, and apply infrastructure as code using Terraform and Ansible, within a small, collaborative team.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• History of academic and professional success.
• Experience or interest in switches, routers, access points, and/or UPSes.
• Proficiency with Cisco enterprise hardware; CCNA/CCNP helpful.
• Relocation to Madison, WI area (reimbursed).
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
• COVID-19 vaccination.

Please note that this position is based on our campus in Madison, WI, and requires relocation to the area. We recruit nationally and provide financial relocation assistance.

We are seeking a network engineer to install, configure, and support our campus and cloud networks. You'll have the opportunity to evaluate technology and influence changes in Epic's internal infrastructure. Our global network environment is comprised of a variety of mainstream technologies from Cisco and other vendors. You'll investigate and implement modern switching and routing platforms, configure firewall rules, and design and troubleshoot WAN connectivity. With an increased focus on infrastructure as code for deployments, you'll also leverage technologies like Terraform and Ansible. As part of a small, collaborative team, you'll be an expert who helps keep us up and running as a company so that we can help some of the nation's largest healthcare organizations improve patient care.
