ezCater is seeking a senior engineering leader to guide the search stack and backend platform that powers our food-technology platform. You will drive architecture, data schemas, indexing, and ranking strategies while aligning teams around high-quality delivery and scalable performance.

With 8+ years in software engineering and proven leadership in complex back-end systems, you will shape the technical roadmap, champion measurable improvements, and mentor engineers across the organization.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with leadership in backend or platform environments.
• Deep credibility in search or retrieval systems, ideally through major re-architecture or build-from-scratch.

What You Have:

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including experience leading teams or serving as a technical lead in complex backend or platform environments.
• Deep technical credibility in search or retrieval systems such as Vespa, Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, or Solr, ideally through a major re-architecture or build-from-scratch effort.
