LIQID is seeking an Engineering Lead (f/m/d) in Berlin to guide a team of software engineers building a next-generation digital wealth management platform managing assets over €3B. You will balance technology and people, provide technical direction, and help your team grow both personally and professionally.

You will mentor engineers, drive architecture and coding standards, and collaborate with Product, Design and other Engineering Leads to execute the roadmap.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack development, ideally in a web or mobile environment.
• Strong experience with TypeScript and Node.js, familiarity with frontend frameworks like React or React Native and databases such as PostgreSQL or Redis.
• Solid understanding of scalable system design, software architecture patterns and clean code principles.
• Proven experience mentoring and leading high-performance engineering teams.

As an Engineering Lead (f/m/d) at LIQID, you will lead a team of software engineers building our next-generation digital wealth management platform — managing over €3 billion in assets.

Your team turns ideas into reliable, scalable and elegant solutions, from client-facing applications to the sophisticated systems that power our investment processes. As a hands‑on engineering leader, you balance technology and people, provide technical direction, write high‑quality code and help your team to grow personally and professionally. You foster an environment of ownership, learning and innovation, and ensure that our products consistently meet the highest quality and performance standards.

Our tech stack: TypeScript, Node.js, Hono, React/React Native, PostgreSQL, Redis, and GCP.

2. Technical Assessment with two Senior Team Members : A technical exchange to discuss your experience and expertise in relation to the role. This round includes a practical case study to demonstrate your approach and problem-solving skills.

3. Video Call with Head of Engineering : You will learn more about the performance expectations and specific role requirements from our leadership team.

4. In-Person Meeting : You will meet some team members onsite, tour our office and sit down with our CTO to discuss final alignments.
