Advantest, based in Böblingen, is seeking an Engineer for Digital Engineering to support the implementation and operation of Digital Engineering capabilities within multiple domains. You will collaborate with R&D, Supply Chain, IT, and other stakeholders to provide engineering input and feedback.

The role requires a university degree in a technical field and several years of experience with digital tools and PLM concepts. Fluent English is expected; German is an advantage.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable technical discipline.
• Several years of professional experience in engineering environments with experience in digital tools and processes.
• Solid understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) concepts and experience with engineering authoring or lifecycle systems.

• Contribute to cross-functional collaboration with R&D, Supply Chain, IT, and other stakeholders by providing engineering input and feedback.
• Support pilots, rollouts, and improvement initiatives for Digital Engineering solutions under guidance of senior team members.
• Assist in analyzing engineering workflows and identifying improvement opportunities related to efficiency, quality, and data consistency.
• Support adoption activities such as documentation, user support, and training preparation.
• Contribute data and feedback to help assess the effectiveness of Digital Engineering solutions and improvements.

Your Qualifications

• Solid understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) concepts and experience with engineering authoring or lifecycle systems (e.g. Windchill, Teamcenter, Xpedition, NX)
• Willingness to learn and apply new methods, tools, and processes in a structured engineering environment
• Analytical mindset with a pragmatic, solution‑oriented working style
• Ability to collaborate effectively in cross‑functional and international teams
• Fluent in English; German language skills are an advantage
