Airbus Defence and Space GmbH in Germany seeks an experienced engineer to develop safety-critical software for unmanned aerial systems. You will contribute to the Flight Control System and Flight Management System, applying Model-Based Development in a high-integrity environment.

Who You Are

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in Computer Science or in a related field.
• Proven experience in embedded software development (ideally C) and a deep understanding of real-time constraints.
• Experience or strong interest in Model-Based Development (MBD) workflows (e.g., ANSYS Scade or MATLAB/Simulink) to drive system design.
• An understanding of the rigor required for high-integrity environments (e.g., DO-178C or similar safety standards).
• A proactive approach to solving complex, \"unsolved\" problems in the field of autonomy and flight control.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
• German language skills are a plus.
