Infineon Technologies AG in Ilmenau, Thuringia, is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to help program the intelligence behind the chips and transform data into actionable insights. You will model architecture in UML, create requirements, and set up development and test environments.

You will collaborate cross-functionally on mechatronic projects, work with microcontrollers, and use C and Python for testing. Proficiency in German and English is required.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or a comparable course of study.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in embedded software design and software development.
• Programming skills in C; initial programming experience with Python for test automation is a plus.
• Interest in the function and potential of microcontrollers.
• Experience with oscilloscopes and embedded software tracing tools.
• Be a team player with a passion for developing new and creative ideas.
• Fluency in written and spoken German and English.
