Photon Laser Engineering GmbH in Berlin is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to service electrical infrastructure and our production facilities, including 3D laser welding systems, robots, laser technology, 2D and 3D laser cutting systems, press brakes and related systems.

You will perform preventive maintenance, fault analysis, installation and commissioning of machinery, document activities meticulously, and collaborate with production, maintenance, and logistics to keep operations

• Maintain, service and repair electrical infrastructure and production facilities.
• Maintain power supply systems and modern production equipment including laser systems and robots.
• Analyze faults in electrical, electromechanical, and automated systems and resolve them.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and repair work reliably and thoroughly.
• Install, modify and commission machinery, systems and electrical equipment.
• Perform electrical installations in building and production sectors to professional standards.
• Test electrical equipment per regulations (DGUV V3) and document modifications.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance and logistics; assist in spare parts availability.

Area of responsibility

• You perform maintenance, servicing, and repair work on the electrical infrastructure and our production facilities.
• The maintenance of the power supply at our location and our modern production facilities – including 3D laser welding systems, robots, laser technology, 2D and 3D laser cutting systems, press brakes and deep-drawing presses, as well as compressed air, extraction, and air conditioning systems – is part of your area of responsibility.
• You analyze faults in electrical, electromechanical, and automated systems and resolve them independently.
• You carry out preventive maintenance and repair work reliably and thoroughly.
• You install, modify, and commission machinery, systems, and electrical equipment.
• You carry out electrical installations in the building and production sectors professionally.
• You test electrical equipment and systems in accordance with applicable regulations (e.g., DGUV V3).
• You meticulously document maintenance, repairs, inspections, and technical modifications.
• You assist in ensuring the availability of spare parts and with general technical tasks related to buildings and infrastructure.
• Collaboration with the production, maintenance, and logistics departments is second nature to you.

Requirements

• You have completed your training as an electrician, industrial electrician, electronics technician for operating technology, or a comparable qualification.
• You are passionate about an industrial work environment.
• Professional experience is an advantage, but not a requirement
• You are proficient in handling circuit diagrams and electrical documentation.
• You are ready to continue your education.
