Zusammenfassung

Join SII Germany as an Electrical Test Engineer (m/f/x) Solar Arrays in Munich. You will plan and execute standardized Type Approval Test campaigns for Solar Array hardware, perform functional, electrical and thermal tests, and develop automated test sequences using Python and/or C++.

You will support EGSE operations and collaborate with international teams while ensuring ECSS standards and quality requirements are met.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Aerospace Engineering or a comparable technical qualification.
• Experience in testing, verification and qualification of hardware, ideally within the space industry.
• Experience with Solar Arrays for space applications is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of ECSS standards, particularly ECSS-E-ST-20-08C.
• Basic understanding of Photovoltaic Assemblies and Solar Cell Assemblies.
• Knowledge of silicon diodes and non-EEE-standard components for Solar Array applications is an advantage.
• Experience with Electrical Ground Support Equipment and electrical test setups is an advantage.
• Experience in developing test scripts using Python and/or C++.
• Experience in automated data acquisition, logging and test evaluation.
• Experience with Configuration Management and formal review processes such as PDR and CDR.

In this role, you will plan and prepare standardized Type Approval Test (TAT) campaigns for Solar Array hardware in space programs, execute them and coordinate their implementation. You will work on functional, electrical and thermal testing, take responsibility for the Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) used and develop automated test sequences and data evaluations using Python or C++. In addition, you will support electrical engineering activities as well as integration and review activities within the project.
