- Independently perform service work on transformers and/or AIS and GIS switchgear
- Carry out assembly, commissioning, inspections, maintenance, and fault rectification
- Perform repairs and manufacture replacement parts at customer sites and/or in the service workshop
- Dismantle and assemble subassemblies
- Carry out rework and modifications
- Handle tools, measuring equipment, and fixtures properly and professionally
- Prepare site documentation and test reports in accordance with templates
- Consistently implement accident prevention, EHS, manufacturing, work instruction, and quality requirements
- Consistently comply with GE Vernova's ethics guidelines
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in electrical engineering in accordance with DIN VDE 0105, for example as an electrician, electrical technician, mechanic, or industrial mechatronics technician; alternatively, a master craftsperson or technician qualification, or an equivalent qualification acquired through professional experience
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, primarily within Germany
- Professional experience in customer service preferred
- Interest in personal and professional development
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and responsibility
- Initiative, determination, and flexibility
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel
- Class B driver's license
- Good written and spoken German
