Qnity Electronics is seeking an experienced EH&S Specialist to join our MidAtlantic EH&S Hub and support Kalrez operations in Newark, Delaware. You will lead environmental, health, and safety programs for over 360 employees across two sites, partnering with Operations, Engineering, and site leadership to drive continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.

In this role, you will help create a safer workplace for over 360 employees across two manufacturing sites while driving environmental excellence and continuous improvement. You will be a visible leader, trusted advisor, and technical expert who partners with Operations, Engineering, and site leadership to make a meaningful impact every day.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and champion environmental, health, and safety programs across the site.
• Build strong partnerships with employees, leaders, and technical teams to foster a proactive safety culture.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and drive initiatives that reduce risk and enhance compliance.
• Lead incident investigations, determine root causes, and implement sustainable corrective actions.
• Be a visible presence on the manufacturing floor, providing guidance and support on EH&S matters.
• Oversee environmental compliance programs related to air emissions, water systems, and waste management.
• Support permit applications, renewals, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Coordinate audits, inspections, and regulatory visits while ensuring actions are completed successfully.
• Deliver engaging safety and environmental training programs.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Operations to ensure new projects and facility changes meet EH&S requirements.
• Support ISO 14001, SPCC, Management of Change (MOC), and Pre-Start-Up Safety Review (PSSR) activities.
• Analyze EH&S performance data and translate insights into meaningful improvements.
• Contribute to broader EH&S initiatives across the MidAtlantic Hub.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Sciences, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5-10 years of EH&S experience in manufacturing, chemical, industrial, or similar environments.
• Strong knowledge of environmental and occupational safety regulations.
• Experience leading investigations, audits, compliance programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to influence, coach, and build trust across diverse teams.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Self-driven mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Flexibility to occasionally support off-shift activities and travel locally up to 10%.
