Johnson Controls is seeking an EHS Manager to shape a Zero Harm culture across multiple German sites. You will partner with leaders to drive safety excellence, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver meaningful environmental impact in field-based operations.

You will lead audits, develop training, manage incidents, and act as the main contact for the Works Council. A German SiFa qualification or ability to obtain it, plus fluent German and English, is required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental sciences, health & safety or related field.
• SiFa qualification or ability to obtain it, with EHS compliance experience.
• Field-based EHS experience required across industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and ISO 14001/45001 standards.
• Experience in industrial, construction or technical settings.
• Fluent German and English required.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel within Germany.

• Monitor KPIs and present insights to senior stakeholders.

• Promote a strong safety-first and sustainability mindset

What we look for

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Environmental Sciences, Occupational Health & Safety, or the related technical discipline
• Qualification as a German Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit (SiFa), or the ability to obtain this qualification, with relevant experience in EHS compliance, risk management, and occupational safety management systems
• Previous EHS experience in field-based environments
• Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and management systems (ISO 14001 and ISO 45001)
• Experience in industrial, construction, or technical environments
• Fluent in German and English
• Driving licence and willingness to travel in Germany
