BioNTech seeks a Director of Supply Chain Development & Performance to shape the global supply chain strategy and drive its evolution. You will lead initiatives across planning, logistics, systems, digitalization, and customer supply to deliver sustainable value and improve organizational effectiveness.

You will define advanced performance measures, implement capabilities, and establish a world-class operating model aligned with BioNTech’s strategy.

Qualifikationen

• Academic degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or related field and experience in pharmaceutical/biotech or other regulated industries.
• Extensive leadership experience in global supply chain operations across planning, logistics, digitalization, finance, manufacturing, quality assurance, and executive functions.
• Proven track record of delivering measurable business impact through transformation programs in complex environments.
• Strong expertise in financial frameworks development, KPI structures implementation, risk management processes creation, and continuous improvement strategies execution.

As Director Supply Chain Development & Performance, you will play a pivotal role in shaping BioNTech’s global supply chain strategy and driving its evolution to meet future growth and innovation needs. You will lead transformative initiatives across planning, logistics, systems, digitalization, and customer supply to deliver sustainable value and enhance organizational effectiveness. Your contribution:

A good match:

• Academic degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or related field and experience in pharmaceutical/biotech or other regulated industries

• Proven track record of delivering measurable business impact through transformation programs in complex environments
• Strong expertise in financial frameworks development, KPI structures implementation, risk management processes creation, and continuous improvement strategies execution
• Proficiency in Lean, Six Sigma principles alongside experience managing change for large-scale programs
• Strategic thinker with excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to influence at executive levels
• Passion for innovation and organizational development with a proactive mindset to drive initiatives independently
• Fluent English; German language skills are an advantage
