Verifone in Germany seeks an experienced ERM professional to shape risk culture within Finance. You will operate at the intersection of enterprise risk management and strategic decision-making in a dynamic financial environment.

Key responsibilities include supporting risk assessments, designing controls, monitoring tests, and reporting to management and supervisory authorities. A Master’s in business or banking background with 5+ years of risk experience is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in business admin or banking training.
• 5+ years in Enterprise Risk and regulatory reporting.
• Experience at a Big 4 is desirable.
• Knowledge of risk tools (OneTrust, ServiceNow) and mapping tools (Bizagi, Visio).
• MaRisk knowledge in finance/PSP or banks.
• Strong team player with clear communication.

• Work with ERM instruments (RCSA, monitoring, testing, issue tracking).
• Assist 1st line Finance in risk assessments via workshops.
• Design control measures to mitigate risks beyond appetite.
• Monitor and test finance controls; prepare reports for upper management.

• Update policies and work instructions for new reporting requirements.

What's Exciting About The Role

This role offers a unique opportunity to sit at the intersection of enterprise risk management and strategic decision-making within a dynamic financial environment. You’ll play a key role in shaping the risk culture across Finance by ensuring that risk management practices are not only compliant but also add real business value.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with the risk instruments developed within the ERM framework (Risk and Control Self Assessment, Monitoring and Testing, Issue Management & Action Tracking, Change Risk Assessment, Strategic Risk Assessment, Threat Analysis & Risk Assessment, BCM, Integrity Risk Analysis)
• Support 1st line Finance departments in performing risk assessments, by providing guidance, organize dedicated ERM workshops
• Support 1st line Finance in designing control measures for mitigating the risks above the risk appetite
• Monitor and test the first line Finance control measures, and prepare reporting and presentations of the results for upper management
• Prepare Risk related reports for InterCard to supervisory authorities.
• Update existing policies and work instructions for the reports handled with regard to new reporting requirements.

Skills and Experience We Desire

• Master’s degree in business administration or completed commercial training in the banking sector.
• Proven experience in Enterprise Risk regulatory & reporting at a bank or financial service provider - A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Enterprise Risk is a must have
• Experience at one of the Big 4 is desirable.
• Experience in working with risk management tools (i.e. OneTrust, Service Now) and mapping tools (i.e. Bizagi, Visio)
• In-depth knowledge of MaRisk with a background in finance, payment service providers (ZAG) or credit institutions and financial service providers.
• Strong team player, reliable, and highly self-motivated.
• Ability to understand complex issues and communicate them clearly to different audiences.
• Independent, structured, quality- and goal-oriented work style with an analytical and solution-oriented mindset.
