Citi in Germany seeks a Strategy and Analytics leader for the LMS Balance Sheet Strategy Team to drive revenue, balance sheet optimization and KPI reporting across clusters. The role partners with Finance to enhance analytics, forecast improvements and strategic decision making.

The candidate will manage a team of senior professionals, guide planning processes, and steer annual and quarterly performance reviews, aiming to optimize Liquidity and Tangible Common Equity for the franchise.

Qualifikationen

• Significant senior experience in Product Management and/or Treasury is beneficial.
• Experience in deposit behaviours, asset‑liability management, planning and analysis.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills are essential.

The role is part of the Liquidity Management Services (LMS) Balance Sheet Strategy Team. The primary objective of the Strategy and Analytics position is to drive revenue, balance sheet, and spread optimization objectives across clusters - collaborating with Cluster LMS Heads and leading the Cluster Balance Sheet Leads to proactively manage business financial objectives. The person filling this position will be required to liaise with Finance organization to enhance LMS cluster analytics to establish effective KPIs tracking. An important part of the role will be managing deposit levels to firm's set objectives (e.g. consider GSIB, Net interest margin, and return optimization) and partner with Finance monitor financial performance and enhance our forecasting process through improved strategies. The person responsible for this role will lead a team 5 senior professionals (3 Directors) and will be responsible for supporting financial planning processes (Plan, QMMF, CCAR, etc.) as well as quarterly deposit sensitivity determination process. The person will also be responsible for setting agendas and driving content for key strategy forums, such as quarterly business reviews and asset and liability strategy reviews. What you'll do:

• Work in the LMS Business Execution and Balance Sheet Strategy Team across a spectrum of balance sheet objectives assuring effective execution, stakeholders' alignment, and effective partnership.
• Define and manage overall balance sheet optimization strategy for LMS; drive and track execution.
• Partner with Finance and Data Analytics to enhance Monthly Cluster/ Client Analytics. Assure delivery and standardization of Key Performance Indicators
• Guide planning and forecasting processes (Plan, QMMF, CCAR, etc.) with an analytical lens, scrutinizing performance drivers and identifying potential risks and opportunities.
• Partner with Finance and Treasury to deliver annual and quarterly Beta/sensitivity determination and monthly tracking process.
• Manage various monthly forums (Assets/Liabilities Strategy Forums, Business Management, country deep dives).
• Deposit Volatility Monitoring / Targets & Deposit Capacity Management, Global Systemic Important Banks management.
• Assure appropriate Transfer Pricing/Hedge across clusters / countries in partnership with Fund Transfer Pricing, Capital and Hedging Optimization Team.
• Support LMS Business Execution and Balance Sheet Strategy Head in any balance sheet related activities.
• Support any other ad hoc Cluster / Country ask in relation to all balance sheet management topics that arise.
• Drive Franchise / Services balance sheet strategy execution and overall Tangible Common Equity and Liquidity optimization for the franchise / liaising with key regional and functional partners.
• Assure effective Planning, Forecasting and Beta processes.
• Identify revenue and optimization opportunities across clusters.
• Assure the right KPIs and analytics/reporting to measure and track performance.
• Steer development of Balance sheet Strategy and Analytics team, define the vision and direction for the team.
  Significant senior experience in Product Management and/or Treasury beneficial.
• Experience in deposit behaviours, asset-liability management, planning, and analysis.
• Highly developed stakeholders' management skills.
• An analytical mindset, commercial awareness, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor's/University degree, master's degree preferred.
