Exyte in Stuttgart seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead large EPC projects in hi-tech sectors, ensuring EHS compliance, schedule adherence and quality. You will act as the liaison to corporate management, coordinate with clients and contractors, and drive risk mitigation while guiding the project team.

A Master’s in engineering and strong German/English communication are required. The role offers onboarding, a hybrid work option, and a supportive buddy system within a location-strong

Qualifikationen

• Master degree in engineering or related field.
• Extensive EPC project management experience.
• Proficient in German and English (spoken and written).
• PMI certification advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Accountable for overall project performance including EHS, financial, schedule and quality for large EPC projects in electronics and battery industries.
• Represent corporate management to the project.
• Act as the highest escalation point within the project to client, contractor and project team.
• Develop and maintain communication with the client.
• Report project status to company management per procedures.
• Stay on project site and participate in client reporting meetings.
• Identify and mitigate project risks.
• Ensure adherence to corporate procedures, standards and guidelines.
• Define project strategies to achieve goals.
• Be a visible, positive influence and provide guidance to the team.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Accountable for overall Project performance, including but not limited to EHS (Environment, Health & Safety), Financial, Schedule and Quality performance and construction for large EPC projects in the electronic and battery industry
• Representative of the corporate management to the project
• Highest escalation level within the project to client, contractor and the project team before the corporate management
• Develop and keep good communication and relationship with the Client
• Accountable for the project performance on EHS, schedule, cost and quality, as well as the project manager’s performance
• Report the project status to the company management as per corporate procedures
• Stay on the project site and participate in the client management reporting meeting
• Monitor and participate in the project risk identification and mitigation plan development process
• Ensure corporate procedures, standards and guidelines are followed within the project disciplines
• Define project strategies to achieve the project goals externally and internally
• Be a visible, positive and encouraging example influence for the project team members, both internally and externally
• Provide guidance and motivation to the team
• Show your expertise

Requirements

• Master Degree in Engineering or related field preferred
• Many years experience in related industries (Semiconductors, Bateries or Electonics) with extensive EPC project management experience
• Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills in German and English
• Broad technical understanding of CSA (Civil Structural Architecture) and MEP systems
• PMI certification advantage
