We are looking for a high-impact, commercially driven Business Development & Sales- eClinical and Clinical Informatics Solutions leader to acceleratethe growthof oureClinicaland clinical informatics business across pharmaceutical companiesandCROs. This is a hunter role for a self-starting, strategic, and highly credible professional who knows how to open doors, create demand, build executive relationships, and close complex deals.
You will lead front-end business development efforts for oureClinicaland clinical informatics software solutions, including engagement with clinical operations, data management, biometrics, IT, medical, regulatory, and executive stakeholders. You must be comfortable selling against well-known competitors and navigating sophisticated buying environments.
The right candidate bringsa deepunderstanding of the clinical technology landscape, strong market awareness of similar platforms and providers, and the ability to position differentiated value in a compelling way. You should be a persuasive presenter, a confident communicator, and a proactive leader who creates momentum rather than waits for direction.
Drive new business growth foreClinicaland clinical informatics software solutions in pharmaceutical, biotech, and CRO accounts.
Hunt for new opportunities through strategic outreach, networking, market mapping, referrals, conferences, and targeted account penetration.
Develop and execute winning sales strategies to buildpipeline, advance opportunities, and close revenue-generating deals.
Build relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and budget owners across sponsor and CRO organizations.
Lead high-impact discovery discussions to understand customer pain points, business drivers, technology gaps, and operational needs.
Deliver compelling presentations, product positioning, and value-based solution discussions to senior and executive-level stakeholders.
Clearly articulate competitive differentiation against other market players.
Partner with internal subject matter experts, product teams, operations, marketing, and leadership to shape client strategy and win business.
Lead or support proposals, RFP responses, pricing discussions, and contract negotiations.
Maintain a strong and credible pipeline with disciplined opportunity management andaccurateforecasting.
Track market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity toidentifygrowth opportunities and refine go-to-market strategy.
Represent the company at industry conferences, client meetings, and strategic business-development events.
Act with urgency, ownership, and accountability to push opportunities forward and deliver results.
Lead and develop a high-performing Business Development team, providing strategic direction, coaching, and performance management to drive business growth and achieve sales targets.
Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, technology, ora relatedfield. An advanceddegree isa plus.
10+ years of relevant experience with a strongertrack recordof independently leading and closing strategic opportunities.
Proven success sellingeClinical, clinical informatics, clinical technology, SaaS, or related solutions to pharmaceutical, biotech, and/or CRO clients.
Strong understanding of the clinical development ecosystem and related technologies.
In-depth knowledge of industry offerings and competitors.
Demonstrated ability to prospect, generatepipeline, manage complex sales cycles, and win new business.
Excellent presentation, communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
Strong executive presence and the ability to build trust with senior stakeholders.
Self-motivated, proactive, and highly accountable, witha strong senseof ownership.
A true leader who can energize internal teams and inspire client confidence.
Experience using CRM tools and managingpipelineand forecast reporting.
Willingness to travel as needed.
Experience selling solutions related to EDC, RTSM,eCOA/ePRO, CTMS, eTMF, safety, data integration, analytics, data review, or SDTM/ADaM/TLF automation.
Familiarity with clinical operations, biometrics, clinical data management, regulatory, and medical workflows.
Experience working in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment.
Established network in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or CRO market.
Build and grow a qualified pipeline of target accounts and strategic opportunities.
Expand market visibility and strengthen relationships with key industry stakeholders.
Consistently convert opportunities into signed deals and long-term partnerships.
Position the company as a credible and differentiated provider in theeClinicaland clinical informatics space.
