Zusammenfassung

Robert Bosch Group in Germany seeks a Digital SoC ASIC Physical Implementation Engineer to drive mixed-signal SoC designs for automotive radar applications. You will shape digital layout, sign-off verification, and integration of IP blocks in a global team.

You will collaborate across international teams, apply DfT and safety standards, and use industry-standard flows to ensure testability and reliability of high-performance RF/SoC components across automotive programs.

Qualifikationen

  • Education: completed university studies in electrical engineering, computer science or a comparable subject.
  • Solid knowledge of digital ASIC design, IP integration, digital layout, RTL-to-GDS flow, UPF and verification.
  • Experience with analog RF SoCs and automotive development processes, DfT and safety requirements.

Aufgaben

  • Implementation of mixed-signal SoC ASICs with microcontroller architectures through to digital layout.
  • Integrate design-for-test techniques and IP blocks to ensure functionality and testability.
  • Perform HDL checks (LINT, consistency, CDC), create floorplans for RF components, and integrate hard macros.
  • Own sign-off verification: STA, EM, IR-drop, EC, and gate-level simulation.
  • Coordinate external service providers during implementation and ensure smooth collaboration.
  • Work in international project teams with onsite collaboration.

Responsibilities
  • In this position, you will be responsible for the implementation of mixed-signal SoC ASICs with microcontroller architectures through to the digital layout.
  • As part of your role, you will integrate state-of-the-art design-for-test techniques and use industry-standard IP blocks to ensure the functionality and testability of our chips.
  • You will perform comprehensive HDL checks (LINT, consistency, CDC), create floorplans for RF components, and integrate hard macro designs into higher-level hierarchies.
  • Additionally, you will take ownership of sign-off verification, including Static Timing Analysis (STA), Electromigration (EM), IR-drop analysis, Equivalence Checking (EC), and gate-level simulation, to ensure the quality of our designs.
  • You will coordinate external service providers during implementation and ensure smooth collaboration.
  • Last but not least, international collaboration with colleagues and partners will be an integral part of your daily work.
Qualifications
  • Education: completed university studies in electrical engineering, computer science or a comparable subject
  • Experience and Knowledge: solid knowledge of digital ASIC design, IP integration, digital layout, RTL-to-GDS flow, UPF and verification; experience in the development of analog RF SoCs for automotive applications, including digital-on-top integration of analog macros; experience with Design-for-Test (DfT), functional safety requirements and automotive development processes
  • Personality and Working Practice: you enjoy working collaboratively and constructively in a team, are passionate about complex tasks, and approach challenges with enthusiasm; even when faced with difficult problems, you always find a practical solution; your way of working is structured and goal-oriented, while always keeping customer requirements in focus
  • Work Routine: we are working in international project teams but also appreciate onsite collaboration
  • Languages: fluent in English, both written and spoken; German is a plus
