Qualifikationen

• At least 5 years in digital electronics hardware design, incl. FPGAs and high-speed interfaces.
• ECSS standards experience.
• Knowledge of spacecraft interfaces such as SpaceWire, MIL-STD-1553, SpaceFibre.
• Programming in Python or C/C++.
• ECAD tools like PADS, Xpedition, Spice, HyperLynx.
• Excellent written and verbal English skills.

Aufgaben

• Design complex digital electronic circuits for signal processing, control, and data compression.
• Develop high-speed digital electronics including multi-gigabit links and memory-to-FPGA interfaces.
• Verify circuit performance via simulation, worst-case analysis, derating, and SI analysis.
• Supervise PCB layout for multilayer and rigid-flex high-reliability boards.
• Test and validate circuits in lab and during qualification and acceptance testing.
• Collaborate with mechanical, radiation engineering, EEE, manufacturing, and FPGA/IP core teams.

• Design complex digital electronic circuits for applications such as signal processing, instrument control, and data compression
• Develop high-speed digital electronics, including multi-gigabit serial links and high-speed memory-to-FPGA interfaces
• Verify circuit performance through simulation, including worst-case analysis, derating, and signal integrity analysis
• Supervise PCB layout activities for multilayer and rigid-flex high-reliability PCBs
• Test and validate your circuits in the laboratory as well as under extreme conditions during qualification and acceptance testing
• Collaborate closely with other engineering disciplines, including mechanical design, radiation engineering, EEE engineering, manufacturing, and FPGA/IP core design

Your Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering or a comparable discipline
• At least 5 years of professional experience in the design of digital electronics hardware, including FPGAs, microcontrollers, and high-speed digital interface standards such as JESD204, DDR memory, PCI, or Wizard Link, ideally in the space industry
• Experience in electronics design in accordance with applicable ECSS standards
• Knowledge of spacecraft communication interface standards such as SpaceWire, MIL-STD-1553, and SpaceFibre
• Experience with at least one programming language suitable for controlling automated test setups, such as Python or C/C++
• Experience with ECAD design and simulation tools, e.g. Siemens PADS Professional, Xpedition, Spice, or HyperLynx
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
