Zusammenfassung

SAP SE is seeking an experienced engineer to own end-to-end AI integration for CPQ, quoting and pricing workflows in a production sales platform. You will build scalable AI components, ship grounded AI features, and enable observability across systems to inform decisions.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn data into decision-ready insights, build dashboards and telemetry, and drive measurable impact on SAP Account Executives’ ability to quote, price, and close complex deals.

Qualifikationen

What you'll build

• Grounded AI for sales workflows. Design and ship AI-driven features that support Account Executives directly in their quoting workflow - automation, decision support, and guardrails that are grounded in the platform's own logic. Getting this right is the core technical challenge, not an afterthought.
• End-to-end AI integration. Architect scalable AI components that slot into existing enterprise systems through clean, API-based boundaries - experimentation through to enterprise-ready deployment.
• Analytics that drive decisions. Mine large operational datasets to surface where the real pains and opportunities are. Much of what we build is justified by this analysis first; you'll be the one turning tens of thousands of noisy records into a defensible answer.
• Observability & telemetry. Build the monitoring, dashboards, and telemetry pipelines that tell us how our systems (AI and otherwise)
  actually behave in production and make that visible to the people who need it.
• Your work will directly influence SAP's core sales processes and top-line growth.

What you bring

• Engineering fundamentals + practical AI. You're a strong engineer first, with real AI/ML experience - model and LLM-based system development, rigorous evaluation, and deployment into production (not just notebooks).
• Deep Python and modern AI frameworks; comfortable owning code end-to-end.
• Hands-on with generative AI, LLM orchestration, prompt engineering and retrieval-augmented / grounded systems
• Data & analytics depth as a co-equal strength: strong SQL, comfort wrangling large datasets, log/telemetry analysis, and the judgment to turn raw data into a decision-ready answer.
• Observability engineering - building monitoring, dashboards, and telemetry pipelines; instrumenting systems so their real behavior is visible.
• Cloud-native experience — SAP BTP preferred
• Domain exposure to CPQ, quoting, pricing, or sales/revenue processes is beneficial.
• You're energized by lifelong learning and experimentation, you ground ambitious ideas in evidence and working code. You state confidence honestly, chase root causes, and would rather ship something true and bounded than something impressive and wrong.
