Zusammenfassung

PUMA SE is seeking a skilled Apparel Designer for outerwear to translate Creative Direction into silhouettes and production-ready details. You will own the seasonal outerwear for Men's and Women's lines and ensure line consistency across the collection.

Collaborating with PLM, Development, Materials and Color & Graphics, you will drive from concept to production while meeting calendar milestones. Fluent English and a strong portfolio are essential.

Qualifikationen

  • 3–4 years designing apparel for sports, outdoor or lifestyle brands
  • Portfolio showing outerwear from concept to production
  • Knowledge of membranes and insulation measures
  • Construction fluency
  • Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop proficiency
  • Fluent English
  • Degree in apparel, fashion or product design

YOUR MISSION
  • Design: Own the seasonal Outerwear range for Men's and Women's, concept to line freeze.
  • Translate seasonal Creative Direction into silhouette, proportion and detail.
  • Design within the given architecture so each style reads as part of a line.
  • Hold design integrity through Design reviews and collection presentations
  • Material and construction: Select shells, membranes, insulations and linings against a defined performance and price tier.
  • Work with the materials team on hand feel, weight and drape.
  • Balance protection, weight, packability and cost and know what each trade-off costs the consumer Development:
  • Write tech packs a factory can build from.
  • Keep design data current in the system.
  • Hit every date in the development calendar, across overlapping seasons.
  • Review protos and fit samples.
  • Travel to factories to finalize prototypes.
  • Work with Development and PLM on simplifications that protect margin without flattening the design Market:
  • Track outerwear specifically.
  • Benchmark competitors on construction and price.
  • Know what the consumer expects at each price point
  • Collaboration: Feed the central block library and material platform.
  • Work daily with PLM, Development, Materials and Color & Graphics.
  • Align with other BUs so CORE complements their ranges.
  • Present clearly to design leadership.
YOUR TALENT
  • 3-4 years designing apparel for a sports, outdoor or lifestyle brand, including 2 in outerwear is ideal
  • A portfolio with outerwear taken from concept to production
  • Working knowledge of membranes and insulation and the measures behind them
  • Construction fluency
  • Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop at professional speed
  • Comfort with a fixed calendar and several seasons live at once
  • Degree in apparel, fashion or product design, or an equivalent portfolio
  • Fluent English
  • We want to see outerwear: line sheets, construction detail and one style you can walk us through from first sketch to production.
