GULP – experts united Kiel seeks an electrical/mechanical integration engineer to shape the future of protected land systems by integrating complex electronic components into state-of-the-art vehicle platforms for defense applications. The role involves the full development cycle and compliance with EMC guidelines and strict approval procedures.

You will design with Siemens NX and Teamcenter, manage BOMs, and use JIRA/Confluence to collaborate with mechanics, electrical engineering and testing.

Qualifikationen

• Completed studies in electrical engineering, mechatronics, automotive engineering or mechanical engineering.
• Experience in mechanical integration of E/E components, ideally in defense-related domains.
• Solid 2D/3D design experience with Siemens NX and PLM familiarity with Teamcenter.
• Proficient use of JIRA and Confluence for project coordination.

Aufgaben

• Create precise part, installation and assembly drawings for electronic control units, sensors and wiring.
• Adapt and optimize installation space for electrical systems in vehicle structures.
• Design cable harness routing in 3D models considering space and bend radii.
• Structure bills of materials in the PDM system and prepare data for series release.
• Maintain technical documents like verification instructions and review documents.
• Implement constructive changes and manage project tickets in JIRA and Confluence.

Creation and structuring of bills of materials in the PDM system, as well as the preparation of all necessary data for series production release.

Creation and maintenance of technical supporting documents such as verification instructions and review documents to ensure system functions

Control and implementation of constructive changes, as well as the agile maintenance of project-related tickets in JIRA and Confluence.

Your profile

Successfully completed studies in the field of electrical engineering, mechatronics, automotive engineering, mechanical engineering or training as a technical product designer.

Relevant professional experience in the field of mechanical integration of E/E components, ideally in special vehicle construction, railway vehicle construction or defense technology

Solid practical knowledge in 2D and 3D design with Siemens NX, preferably supplemented by experience with the Routing Electrical module

Safe handling of the PLM system Teamcenter for the structured management of all design data and release processes

Routine in the use of JIRA and Confluence for transparent and agile task coordination in the project team

Fluent German skills and good written and spoken English skills for working in an international development environment

High reliability in handling sensitive data, resilience under tight deadlines and strong teamwork skills
