Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor is seeking an entry‑level civil/related engineer to support natural gas distribution projects in a hybrid role with in‑person meetings and occasional site visits in Indianapolis. You will collaborate with project engineers, designers, and external partners to advance project lifecycle activities.

The role requires a 0–2 year background in natural gas or related engineering disciplines, travel ability, and a valid driver’s license for field work.

Responsibilities

• Support the full lifecycle of natural gas distribution projects while working closely with project engineers, designers, and cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Review public improvement plans, preparing engineering designs, performing engineering calculations, developing pipeline routes, and creating construction estimates.
• Coordinate with internal teams, municipalities, and external partners while providing field support and site visits as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical, chemical, petroleum engineering, or a related engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
• Ability to travel for occasional project visits and maintain a valid driver’s license without restrictions.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment with site visits and in‑person meetings in Indianapolis, IN.
• 0–2 years of experience in natural gas engineering.
• Experience in transportation engineering or general utility engineering.
