ZABEL is seeking Data Scientists and Senior Data Scientists to join its ML teams, working on pricing, ranking, forecasting and customer analytics. You will build production-ready models and collaborate with product and engineering to deliver measurable business value.

The role offers a hybrid work model across Germany, exposure to modern cloud-native tools, and a focus on end-to-end ML product delivery with autonomy and learning opportunities.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in CS, Math, Statistics, ML, Physics or related field.

Your Responsibilities

• Design, build and deploy scalable machine learning models into production.
• Develop predictive models for pricing, forecasting, ranking, recommendations, churn prediction, customer segmentation and revenue optimisation.
• Analyse large, complex datasets to uncover business opportunities.
• Design, execute and evaluate A/B tests and other online experiments.
• Continuously monitor, improve and retrain production models.
• Partner with Product Managers, Software Engineers, Data Engineers and business stakeholders to deliver measurable outcomes.
• Drive projects from problem definition through deployment and monitoring.
• Contribute to technical strategy, best practices and knowledge sharing within the Data Science organisation.
• Mentor junior colleagues and support the adoption of modern AI development practices (for senior-level candidates).

What We're Looking For

• Experience as a Data Scientist in a commercial environment (mid-level or senior).
• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Machine Learning, Physics or a related quantitative field.
• Strong knowledge of statistics, machine learning and predictive modelling.
• Excellent Python and SQL skills.
• Experience developing and deploying production-grade ML models.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to translate business problems into technical solutions.
• Passion for solving real-world problems with data.
