• Fundierte Kenntnisse im Data-Science-Toolset und Auswahl geeigneter Methoden
• Ausgeprägte Python- und SQL-Kenntnisse als Basis
• Proaktive Arbeitsweise zur Übersetzung komplexer Geschäftsprobleme in technische Lösungen
• Erfahrung mit modernen Infrastruktur-Tools wie Kafka, Kubernetes oder Datadog, ideal Cloud-Erfahrung (GCP)
• Für Marketing-Position: Starke Statistikgrundlagen (Kausalanalyse, Regression, Tests)
• Für Produktdaten-Position: Erfahrung mit komplexen MLE-Services und GenAI-Anwendungen

Your tasks – this is what awaits you in detail

• You take full responsibility for the end-to-end lifecycle of data science services, from initial conceptualization and prototyping to full-scale production
• You immerse yourself in your business domain to become an expert in value creation via the data science toolbox
• We’re looking for a role with either a marketing or product data focus. You will either:
  • directly influence spending allocation of our marketing budget and overall multi-channel strategy
  • build data science service that power our entire shop and are crucial for our business success
• You maintain a strong sense of ownership, you ensure the reliability and high performance of your deployed services
• You actively share your expertise to raise the bar for engineering excellence within our data community

Profil

Your profile – this is what we expect from you

• You have extensive knowledge of the data science toolbox which includes picking the right methodology for the appropriate problem
• Excellent Python and SQL skills are the foundation of your technical craft
• A proactive mindset and the ability to translate complex business problems into high-impact technical solutions define your working style
• Ideally you have some familiarity with modern infrastructure tools like Kafka, Kubernetes, or Datadog and have production experience in a cloud environment (ideally GCP)
• For our marketing position we specifically look for:
  • A strong foundation in statistical modeling (e.g., causal inference, regression, hypothesis testing)
  • Experience with performance marketing, spend optimization and attribution
• For our product data position, we specifically look for:
  • Experience shipping complex MLE services
  • Experience shipping large scale GenAI applications
• You are fluent in English (C1) and enjoy working in a dynamic, international environment
