About the Company
Our client is a leading listed company headquartered in Frankfurt, active across international markets and known for its innovation, strong financial performance, and modern working culture. To strengthen their legal department, they are seeking a qualified Volljurist with expertise in data protection and privacy law.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on all aspects of data protection and privacy law (GDPR, BDSG, and related international frameworks).
- Draft, review, and negotiate data processing agreements and privacy clauses within commercial contracts.
- Support internal compliance and risk management teams on privacy by design, incident response, and DPIAs.
- Act as the main contact for authorities and internal stakeholders on data protection matters.
- Develop and implement internal data protection policies, training programs, and awareness initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with IT, HR, Compliance, and Security teams to ensure company-wide compliance.
Profile
- Fully qualified lawyer (Volljurist) in Germany with both Staatsexamen passed successfully.
- Minimum of 2–5 years of post-qualification experience in data protection, ideally in an international company or leading law firm.
- Strong knowledge of GDPR, BDSG, and related regulations.
- Business‑fluent in German and English; other languages are an advantage.
- Pragmatic, hands‑on personality with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
