Analytica is seeking a Data Engineer to support a federal government client program and software product. You will work in an agile team with client collaboration to design and develop software products.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or other scientific or quantitative fields.
• 5 years’ experience designing conceptual, physical and logical data models using enterprise data modeling tools.
• 5 years’ experience in strategic data planning, governance and standards.
• 5years’ experience in enterprise data warehouse modeling and star schema best practices.
• Experience with integrating systems with big data / data lake repositories using ETL tools.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Amazon Redshift, DBeaver, Visual Studio.
• Experience with data mining & data warehousing.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with both business and technical resources.
• Ability to obtain Secret Clearance; Active Secret Clearance highly preferred.

• Design and implement star schema dimensional models (fact and dimensions) in SQL Server.
• Write and optimize ETL scripts including table creation, indexing, keys, and slowly changing dimensions.
• Provide business analysis and develop ETL code to meet technical specifications and requirements.
• Develop application systems following SDLC for high performance and data integrity.
• Contribute to programming approach, tools, and techniques to meet business needs.
• Provide SME input in analytics and data process specifications and plans.
• Deploy application code and analytical models using CI/CD and support deployed data apps.

Analytica is seeking a Data Engineer to support a key, long-term federal government client program and software product. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in an agile, multi-faceted team that involves direct, collaborative client engagement to design and develop software products.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Design and implement star schema dimensional models (fact and dimensions tables) in SQL Server to support business intelligence and analytics requirements
• Write and optimize scripts for data operations including table creation, indexing strategies, appropriate primary and foreign keys, and slowly changing dimensions.
• Provide business analysis and develop ETL code and scripting to meet all technical specifications and business requirements according to the established designs.
• Develop application systems that comply with the standard system development methodology and concepts for design, programming, backup, and recovery to deliver solutions that have superior performance and integrity.
• Contribute to determining programming approach, tools, and techniques that best meet the business requirements.
• Provide subject matter expertise in the analysis, preparation of specifications and plans for the development of data processes.
• Deploys application code and analytical models using CI/CD tools and techniques and provides support for deployed data applications and analytical models

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or other scientific or quantitative fields
• 5years’ experience designing conceptual, physical and logical data models using enterprise data modeling tools
• 5 years’ experience in strategic data planning, governance and standards
• 5years’ experience in leveraging enterprise data warehouse modeling constructs and star schema best practices to ensure flexible, scalable and high performing physical databases
• Previous hands-on experience integratingsystems with big data / data lake repositories using ETL tools
• Experience with technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server, Amazon Redshift, Dbeaver, Visual Studio.
• Experience with data mining & data warehousing is a must
• Excellent communication skills, presentation and interpersonal skills are required. Ability to communicate clearly with both business and technical resources
• Ability to obtain Secret Clearance; Active Secret Clearance highly preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with technologies such as AWS (Glue, Lambda), Git & Github,
• Certification in SQL Server or data management (CDMP, MCSA, etc)
• Background in defense healthcare domain.
